This Cookies Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how Cloud Ripples Private Limited ("Cloud Ripples") uses them on cloudripples.io (the "Site"), and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and they are widely used to make sites work, or work better.
"Similar technologies" means anything that stores or reads information on your device for the same purposes — for example local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers those too.
A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser. A persistent cookie stays on your device until it expires or you delete it. A first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting; a third-party cookie is set by another domain, such as an embedded video or analytics provider.
We use cookies to keep the Site working correctly and secure, to remember choices you make, and — where you have agreed to it — to understand in aggregate how the Site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell the data cookies generate.
Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support core functions such as page navigation, load balancing, form submission, and protecting forms against automated abuse. They do not store information that identifies you for marketing purposes.
Functional cookies. These remember choices you make — such as a preference you have set — so the Site can behave the way you expect on your next visit. If you block them, some conveniences stop working, but the Site still functions.
Analytics and performance cookies. Where enabled, these help us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the Site's performance. They tell us which pages are most and least popular and how visitors move around the Site. We do not use advertising or targeting cookies on the Site.

Bear in mind that blocking all cookies — including strictly necessary ones — will stop parts of the Site from working correctly, and that settings apply per browser and per device, so you will need to repeat them on each one you use.
Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so the Site does not currently change its behaviour when the signal is present.
We may update this policy when the cookies we use change, or when the law does. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. We recommend checking it occasionally.
